The Journey

A renewed mind transforms your life for the better. Making the effort to change your thoughts is the most worthwhile undertaking you can do for yourself.  It is a journey that does not happen immediately.

But with determination, perseverance and acceptance You can:

  • Begin to realize that your unique gifts, talents, and experiences are tremendously powerful in developing  an unshakable confidence in yourself and opens you up to new opportunities.

  • Achieve those insurmountable goals that once seemed out of reach.

 

Life takes on new meaning and direction when you discover the reasons why you’re here!

 

Transformation comes when we have the understanding that the weapons of our warfare are MIGHTY through God for the pulling down all of the strong holds that come against us. 

Taking down thoughts, and everything that lifts itself up against the true knowledge of God and we begin bringing into captivity every thought in agreement with Christ not the world.   

The influence of the Spirit of God is required to produce a genuinely renewed sound mind. 

It requires a thought process based on the wisdom and clarity that God teaches rather than being manipulated by confusion and fear.

Fear is one of satan’s favorite ways to cause is to have irrational thoughts, misunderstandings, and derail us from the will of God. The Word of God encourages us to cultivate a healthy, renewed mind that can process right-thinking based on God’s truth.

A sound mind is:

  • A mind under the control of God’s Holy Spirit.
  • Self-disciplined, careful and rational
  • A stable, healthy mind. A healthy mind is linked to our attitude and outlook as believers.
  • Not overly concerned with the cares and problems of this life but is set on God
  • Alert and focused on the eternal hope we have in Jesus Christ
  • Recognizes who we are in Christ, and does not depend on human wisdom and strength
  • guarded through prayer

A sound mind stabilizes our entire inner world. The  Holy Spirit reshapes and transforms not just how we think, but who we are.

On a 2nd grade report card my teacher writes,

"Darlene runs around the room and

talks to her neighbors!"

For over 35 years I have been a leader, supervisor, an employee and a volunteer in four major sectors of life to include the private, non-profit, government, and faith-based ministry.   

As a professional speaker, trainer, coach, counselor and facilitator I have been given a tremendous understanding and expertise in many areas of interpersonal development. 

I have an unpretentious passion, and uncanny sensitivity that people have said I immediately put them at ease.

My creative design, humor, and spontaneity combined with my professionalism allows me to get the point across to very diverse groups.

I value people and recognizes their strengths. My greatest desire is to help everyone see their strengths for themselves and encourage them to set and achieve what has seemed to them as “insurmountable goals!”
